In this guide we will configure the three components required to connect ClearBank to Ledge in read‑only mode:
Ledge IP whitelist
Generate ClearBank API token
Configure connection in Ledge portal
Administrator privileges are required to complete this guide.
1. Whitelist Ledge IP Addresses
Reach out to ClearBank support to ensure Ledge servers are allowed call ClearBank API. If asked for Ledge's public IP address, provide them with the following: 34.231.208.110
2. Get/Generate CSR file
ClearBank requires the use of a CSR file to generate the API token. However, since Ledge only uses the API to retrieve data - it doesn't require the CSR mechanism de-facto.
You can use your own CSR file as mentioned here or request Ledge Customer Success manager for a Ledge generated one.
3. Generate ClearBank API token

Select Institution → Certificates and Tokens and click Generate API token
Upload the CSR file generated or provided in the previous step
Name the token "Ledge" and set the expiration date to the maximum allowed timeframe (one year)
Copy and save the generated token (you will paste it into the Ledge platform in the next step)
4. Configure Connection in Ledge
Log in to the Ledge platform
Navigate to Sources → Add source → Banks → ClearBank
Complete the form by pasting the token generated in the previous step
Click Save to create the connection
Notify your Ledge Customer Success Manager that the integration is created to continue the setup process
