How-to Guide: Generating Vitesse API Token

  1. Log in to Vitesse's Merchant Administration System (MAS) and make sure your user has administrator rights.

  2. From the main menu, select Administration > API.

  3. Select the Tokens tab. If any tokens were previously configured for your Merchant account, you can see them here.

  4. Select Create Token.

  5. Enter the following values:

    Option
    Description

    Name

    Your name for the token, e.g. "Ledge Access Token"

    Valid From Valid To

    Pick the period for which you would like to give Ledge access. Typically, this is set for three years.

    Roles

    Select the following roles:

    • Accounts.Lookup

    • AccountsMovements.Lookup

    • Transaction.Lookup

  6. Select Create, MAS generates your new token.

  7. Once the API Key is generated, copy and paste it back on Ledge and follow the on-screen instructions
